Michael O’Flynn is Chairman and Founder of O’Flynn Capital Partners. He is a leading figure in the property industry in Ireland and the UK, and widely recognised for his experience and insight into the issues affecting the property and construction industry. Michael O’Flynn is Chairman and Managing Director of the O’Flynn Group. The O’Flynn Group operates a number of businesses in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. The Group’s activities cover property investment, development, construction and the provision of student accommodation. It is now at the forefront of property development and has achieved considerable success in the residential, retail, commercial, industrial and student accommodation sectors. Michael was one of the founding Directors of Property Industry Ireland (PII), a leading industry body that promotes the role of the property industry in Ireland’s economic recovery in a managed and controlled fashion.

Michael Kelleher has over 30 years’ experience in commercial and residential development. Michael has been responsible for developments including Ballincollig Town Centre, Mount Oval residential scheme, Eastgate Business Park and the Elysian residential tower which is the tallest building in Ireland. Michael has been a market leader in delivering large scale developments from concept stage right through to project realisation. He co-ordinates the work of the architectural, engineering, building and marketing teams for a project to ensure that all activities run efficiently.

John Nesbitt has direct responsibility for the overall strategy of the development and investment activities of all the UK based O’ Flynn Group companies. John in his role in OFG has been involved in all aspects of the groups property transactions in the UK and mainland Europe and has extensive banking and funding relationships in these areas. John’s past experience includes the establishment and management of the Victoria Hall student accommodation, as well as the acquisition of a number of high profile sites in the UK including the Haymarket site in Edinburgh, the Wembley site in London, Peckham in London, Granville Road in London and Layerthorpe in York.    

Margaret O’ Neill is a Chartered Accountant having trained previously with Ernst and Young. Margaret has over 8 years’ experience in the property industry in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. She is responsible for the financial reporting, monitoring and modelling of all development projects as well as preparing the management, financial and consolidated accounts and cashflows for all the legal entities.

Shane O'Flynn is a Chartered Surveyor with 9 years’ experience working in the property market. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Cork as well as a Masters in Real Estate from Dublin Institute of Technology. Prior to his current role with O’Flynn Capital Partners, he worked as an associate director with DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald where he worked across a range of departments in both professional services and agency but in latter years’ had a particular emphasis on development strategy advice with a key focus on the sale and acquisition of development opportunities. Shane is now predominantly focused on our activities in Ireland where he is advising on all aspects of property transactions to include the identification of opportunities, financial analysis / appraisal work, the planning process, marketing and design team management.

Tom O’Driscoll is a Chartered Building Surveyor and is a professional member of both the SCSI and RICS and holds qualifications in Construction Management and is a qualified BER Assessor. Tom has over 17 years’ experience across all sectors of the property industry gained from his involvement in a wide variety of large scale projects. Tom is both responsible for the initial front end due diligence of projects dealing with acquisitions, financial appraisals, the planning process, master planning, compliance, legal and contracts, marketing and design team management  while also project managing the delivery of turnkey development projects. Tom joined the O’Flynn Group in 2004 and is responsible for the O’Flynn Construction Irish operations.  

Simon Leadbetter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Surveyors and commenced his property career in 1978. He has extensive experience of the UK commercial investment and development markets including specialist ‘alternative’ sectors and also indirect Commercial Funds. He has a proven track record in property investment and asset management including strategy formulation, JV partnerships and handling complex property transactions at high level. He has strong established investor and agent relationships and has a good understanding of cash flow investment, development appraisals and portfolio analysis. He joined the O’Flynn Group in 2008 involved with funding and finance, developing new vehicles and partnership arrangements; also involved in strategic evaluation of acquisitions, disposals, asset management and development across the Group’s UK activities.
